Welcome to The NOVA Project

The NOVA Project is a community outreach initiative dedicated to restoring hope by helping individuals experiencing homelessness begin the journey toward healing and lasting independence.
Our mission extends beyond meeting immediate needs. While we provide water, food, clothing, and essential supplies, our greater purpose is to address the underlying challenges that often contribute to homelessness—including childhood trauma, addiction, mental health struggles, and prolonged institutionalization. Through compassion, community partnerships, education, counseling, recovery support, and rehabilitation, we strive to help individuals rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.
The NOVA Project was founded by Danny Bigham, whose own life was shaped by childhood abuse, addiction, institutionalization, and homelessness. Through faith in a higher power, a supportive recovery community, and the principles of a 12-step program, he found healing and a renewed sense of purpose. That personal journey inspired a mission to walk alongside others as they pursue hope, restoration, and a brighter future.

Meeting immediate needs with water, sports drinks, and genuine human connection.

Phase 2: 🍽️Care
Providing meals, clothing, hygiene items, blankets, and essential supplies.

Phase 3: 🌱Restore
Connecting individuals with counseling, recovery support, education, job readiness, and community resources.

Phase 4: 🏡Rebuild
Creating a community center offering hot meals, life-skills training, mentorship, rehabilitation, and lasting support.
